Smt. Manju Warrier has received numerous accolades for her dance performances, which have been a lifelong passion. With over a decade of training in Bharatanatyam under her belt, she continues to learn and grow in her craft. She is also continuing to learn other Indian classical dance forms like Mohiniattam and Kuchipudi under the guidance of her revered guru, Kalamandalam Bhagyalakshmi.

Manju’s early training was under the expert tutelage of gurus Satish Nair and Shobha Nair, followed by Guru Shri Rajashree Kale in Mumbai. Additionally, she has had the privilege of training in Carnatic music with Ragini Sarman for five years.

In her childhood years, Manju had the opportunity to participate in various national competitions, winning several awards, including a notable runner-up position on the vastly popular Indian TV show Boogie Woogie.


Manju Warrier also had the privilege of gracing the prestigious Mahakavi Athre Hall in Kalyan, Mumbai with her performances. Additionally, she has also performed at the esteemed Railway Institute in Kalyan, Mumbai, showcasing her caliber to a diverse audience. These platforms have provided her with valuable opportunities to share her passion for dance and connect with art enthusiasts.

After moving to US, recently Manju had the privilege of gracing various prestigious stages, including the Kerala Hindus of North America(KHNA)’s Onam celebrations, several Kerala Association of CT(KACT) functions and the Indian Association of Central Connecticut (IAOCC) Women’s Day celebrations.

One of the most significant milestones in Manju’s dance journey was her long due Arangetram, a debut solo performance (nritya kacheri i.e a a performance including all the main items of dance like keerthanam, padam, varnam, thillana…)which took place at the world renowned Guruvayur Temple Melpathur Auditorium.
